What a year it has been! To be honest 2009 was a very difficult year for me...beyond difficult. In the first half of the year every aspect of my life took a blow. It was a humbling, painful experience!
However, after my 23rd birthday I resolved to stay positive and look forward and onward! I finally decided to pursue my career dream of being a media personality, applied to grad school and started preparing for a pageant. I'm also planning a number of trips for next year...I've caught the travel bug! Did I tell yuh all that I won airline tickets at my office party! So...yeah...even more traveling!
I've drifted apart from a number of friends, but reconnected with a few family members. Overall, I've experienced a lot of much needed growth over this past year. Hopefully, I'll rise to the occasion in 2010!
My closing quote for this year is: "Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth; oh never mind; you will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded. But trust me, in 20 years you’ll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can’t grasp now..."
