News Flash!!

I feel like a Jamaican newspaper, but I have to report that there was a airline crash last night in Jamaica. According to the Jamaica Observer American Airlines Flight 331 from Miami landed and then broke into two upon impact at Norman Manley International Airport!

American Airlines is reporting "there have been no reported injuries or fatalities on Flight #331. Standby for updates." However, about forty passengers had to be taken to the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH). Most have broken bones, bruises and trauma. No reported fatalities at this time! Glad to hear that!

All these plane crashes of late has me beyond worried! There hasn't been this many plane mishaps since the late eighties/ early nineties! Hopefully, the FAA and the airlines are not spending less on upgrades and oversight in an attempt to save money in these times!

For the full story, check out the Jamaica Observer and/or Jamaica Gleaner.

UPDATED! Please read Bonita Jamaica's posting on this story! GREAT READ!
